Join an established healthcare team providing high-quality medical-surgical nursing care on a 13-week assignment based in Cairo, GA, with the possibility of extension. This role is ideal for a registered nurse with strong MedSurg skills and a minimum of two years recent experience in a medical-surgical environment. Previous travel nursing experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered care on a medical-surgical unit using sound clinical judgment and assessment skills
• Function as charge nurse, overseeing shift operations and supporting unit staff
• Document patient care accurately in the Soarian EMR system
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes
• Adhere to all facility policies and protocols, including uniform requirements (Royal Blue scrubs are mandatory but not provided)

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current RN license with evidence of recent MedSurg nursing experience (minimum 2 years)
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Previous travel nurse experience highly beneficial
• Ability to work charge nurse shifts confidently
• Proficient in Soarian EMR or similar systems
• Must live within a 50-mile radius of the assignment location or willing to relocate; submission requires proof of address, references, skills checklist, and documentation through the Qualivis form

Schedule:

• Flexible option to work 3x12 or 4x12-hour day shifts (07:00 19:00)
• Every Other Weekend (EOW) schedule
• Float assignments as needed
• Minimal to no Return to Office (RTO) required

Assignment Details:

• Contract position starting approximately three weeks from offer acceptance
• 13-week duration with potential extension opportunity
