Expand your clinical knowledge by collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, managing diverse patient populations, and observing varied leadership styles. Schedule/Hours
- 12-hour shifts, 7A7P or 7P7A
- Rotating schedule: 56 weekend shifts per 12 shifts over a 6-week cycle
- No on-call required
- Work one shift of each major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, New Years Eve/Day)
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years MedSurg/Telemetry RN experience (first-time travelers welcome)
- Active RN license, BLS required
- BCRpass EKG competency exam (compliance requirement)
- ACLS and relevant national certifications preferred
- Proficiency in complex assessment, IV insertion/care, wound and post-op management, telemetry, and interdisciplinary coordination
Responsibilities
- Coordinate direct patient care for orthopedic trauma, post-op cases, chronic illness, and acute disease
- Conduct skilled cardiac monitoring, titrate select drips (excluding BP drips)
- Educate patients, especially on renal and fluid management
- Collaborate with CNAs, secretaries, resource nurses, and 24/7 physician teams
- Float to MedSurg/Telemetry units as needed
