Make a real difference providing care and support to patients in a dynamic medical-surgical setting. This opportunity is ideal for a Registered Nurse with strong med/surg and telemetry skills, dedicated to high-quality, compassionate patient care.

Schedule:

• Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in medical-surgical nursing
• Solid background in telemetry, including ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
• NIH Certification preferred
• Proficient in EPIC electronic health records
• Commitment to patient safety protocols, including maintaining short, natural nails (no artificial/acrylic nails allowed)
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-standard, evidence-based care to a diverse patient population in a med/surg unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry for cardiac patients as needed
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, therapists, and case management
• Document medical information and patient care thoroughly and accurately in EPIC
• Administer medications, monitor patient status, and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Educate patients and families regarding treatments, procedures, and ongoing care needs
