Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Endoscopy experience to provide quality patient care in a hospital setting. This position offers a full-time day schedule, Monday through Friday, supporting adult patients undergoing specialized procedures. Candidates with one year of relevant experience and appropriate certifications are encouraged to apply. First-time travel nurses with 2-3 years of experience, especially those familiar with Epic or Cerner systems, will also be considered.

Location: This role is based in Brockton, MA, a vibrant city known for its rich history, diverse community, and accessibility to major metropolitan areas. The area provides a combination of urban amenities and suburban comfort, making it a desirable place to live and work.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Block schedule with 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing care to adult patients (age 20-85) undergoing endoscopic procedures including ERCP, bronchoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, colonoscopy, and esophagogastroduodenoscopy
  • Manage 11 beds within a 3-room endoscopy unit averaging a daily census of 40 patients
  • Administer medications using the Omnicell system
  • Document patient information accurately using Cerner electronic medical records
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse licensure
  • Minimum 1 year endoscopy nursing experience required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Experience with Cerner or Epic electronic health records preferred
  • Ability to provide care for adult patients in a fast-paced environment

Contract Type:
