Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift: 7:00am 7:30pm
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend rotation
Qualifications/Experience:
- Valid RN license
- Prior experience in Medical-Surgical units required
- Flexible approach to carepreferred ability to manage ED patients
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Experience with inpatient holds a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in both Medical-Surgical and holding areas
- Assess patient conditions, develop and implement care plans, and document interventions
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adapt to variable patient acuities and prioritize care accordingly
- Support and educate patients and families to promote positive healthcare experiences
