Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, evidence-based nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for side effects or contraindications
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Promote patient safety and comfort through vigilant monitoring and rapid response to changes in condition
• Educate patients and families about disease processes, treatment options, and discharge instructions
• Coordinate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to achieve optimal patient results

Desired Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year recent medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and dynamic environments
• BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems and documentation standards
• Willingness and reliability to fulfill contract assignments as scheduled
