This opportunity places you in a 28-bed Medical Surgical Unit known for its fast-paced setting and exposure to a wide spectrum of cases, including general and vascular surgery, bariatric, trauma, and stroke care. You'll collaborate with an engaged interdisciplinary team where patient-centered, evidence-based care is prioritized. The units active Shared Governance Council ensures a supportive environment for continuous learning and professional development, immersing you in contemporary leadership and teamwork strategies.
Schedule/Hours:
- Travel position with variable shifts in a high-acuity environment
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Active RN license with Medical Surgical nursing experience (RN-MS)
- Proven clinical expertise and commitment to excellence in patient care
- Advanced time management and organizational skills
- Effective communication and collaboration across multiple disciplines
- Familiarity with care planning, documentation, and best practices in acute settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with healthcare teammates to formulate and implement patient-centered care plans based on comprehensive assessments
