Exciting contract opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse with specialized skills in Medical-Surgical (MS) care and Telemetry. This night shift role is for candidates with a strong clinical background and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.
Schedule:
- Nights, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and current Massachusetts RN license
- Active BLS certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
- Minimum 3 years of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience
- Proven experience with Telemetry monitoring and Meditech documentation systems
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments and float to similar units as needed
- Recent travel nursing experience
- Must complete a Telemetry competency test on the first day of orientation
- 2024/2025 flu vaccination required prior to start
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive MS and Telemetry nursing care, closely monitoring and assessing adult patient conditions
- Accurately interpret telemetry strips and respond to patient changes swiftly
- Document all care in Meditech and maintain meticulous patient records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver holistic care
- Adapt to floating assignments as patient care needs demand
