Provide advanced nursing care as an experienced Registered Nurse with specialization in Medical-Surgical units. This position is based in Boston, MA, offering a dynamic opportunity to work within a versatile float pool across multiple inpatient units, including telemetry and med-surgical floors. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of relevant experience and possess the flexibility to provide holiday coverage.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum of 2 years experience in medical-surgical nursing and travel nursing preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
• Experience with Meditech Expanse 6 EMR is preferred, but not required
• Demonstrated ability to work in a float pool environment across telemetry and med-surgical units
• 2 recent professional references including charge nurse or manager
• Skills checklist matching specialty area to be submitted
• Ability to attend scheduled orientation dates (e.g., January 14 or 28; or October 15 or 29)
• Must include Return to Office (RTO) availability at time of application

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on telemetry, med-surgical, and float units
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and document care within the EMR system
• Cover holiday shifts as part of unit staffing requirements
• Adapt quickly to different unit workflows and patient needs

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts: 7:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m.

Contract Details

• Contract position with local rate offered for candidates residing within 50 miles
