Job Description
A dynamic opportunity for an experienced MedSurg Registered Nurse with a strong background in medical-surgical nursing is available in Boston, GA. This contract position starts approximately three weeks from the offer date and spans a 13-week assignment with a possibility of extension. Offering a flexible schedule, nurses can choose between 3x12 or 4x12-hour day shifts, working every other weekend with minimal to no return-to-office requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive patient care in a medical-surgical unit
- Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed
- Utilize Soarian EMR system for accurate documentation
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current RN license with BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum of two years recent medical-surgical nursing experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Competence in charge nurse duties on a MedSurg floor
- Ability to adhere to uniform requirements (Royal Blue scrubs - not provided)
- Submission materials must include references, skills checklist, updated NURSYS profile, and valid drivers license confirming residency within a 50-mile radius of the assignment location
Schedule and Hours:
- Day shifts only (07:00 19:00)
- Options for 3x12 or 4x12-hour shifts available
- Every other weekend coverage
- Float assignments supported
- Minimal to no return-to-office (RTO) expectations, to be noted on submission
