Schedule/Hours

• 13-week contract with 36 hours/week guaranteed (option for 48 hours upon request).
• 12-hour night shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM).
• Three weekends per every six-week schedule; every other holiday.

Qualifications

• Active compact RN license (attach with submission).
• Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years strong Med/Surg experience, plus one previous travel assignment.
• Trauma level II experience.
• Recent proficiency with EPIC charting.
• Demonstrated skills in remote telemetry, chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, Foleys, ostomies, Heparin drips, blood product administration, tracheostomy care, and PCA management.
• Proven strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable managing change.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care to Med/Surg population (post-surgical, sepsis, COPD, CHF, high fall risk).
• Participate in patient assessment, medication administration, and intervention as needed.
• Float within skill set to nearby campuses as required (advance notice provided).
• Precept and mentor students or new hires as part of the teaching facility culture.
