This 13-week travel assignment places you in a leading teaching hospital, offering first-hand exposure to diverse clinical practices and innovative leadership. With chances to float between campuses and care for complex cardiac, renal, and tele patients, every shift builds adaptability and depth to your nursing experience.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour Night Shifts: 6:30 PM 7:00 AM
  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week (48-hour contracts available upon request)
  • Three weekends per six-week schedule
  • Every other holiday; cross-campus float possible with advance notice

Your Qualifications:

  • Active compact RN license
  • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of strong Cardiac/Telemetry experience, including at least 1 prior travel assignment
  • Level II trauma experience
  • Recent EPIC charting proficiency
  • Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation expertise (must pass competency test)
  • Initiation/titration of antiarrhythmic drips, PIV insertion, and advanced assessment skills
  • Adaptability and resilience are essential

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert care to high-acuity cardiac/telemetry and renal patients
  • Float assignments as needed among nearby campuses, adapting to varied patient needs
  • Mentor and precept students/new hires in a collaborative teaching environment
  • Engage in best practice workflows while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
