Dedicated clinical professionals are needed for a contract assignment in a busy Medical-Surgical nursing setting. This opportunity is ideal for RNs who are passionate about providing high-quality care and making a difference for patients during their hospital stay.
Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position (duration discussed during interview)
- Shifts and specific schedules provided upon interview
Qualifications:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Medical-Surgical (MS) nursing
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; additional certifications preferred
- Strong assessment, organizational, and clinical skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Demonstrated commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor a varied patient caseload in the medical-surgical unit
- Conduct assessments, administer medications, and develop care plans
- Coordinate with physicians and other medical staff regarding patient needs and progress
- Document patient observations, interventions, and outcomes thoroughly and accurately
- Educate patients and families about conditions, medications, and discharge instructions
- Support a safe, efficient, and comforting environment for patients and staff
