Schedule/Hours:
- Shift times: 06451915 or 18450715
- Every other weekend rotation
- Schedule cycle every 6 weeks
- Possibility of low census call and call back
- Holiday coverage: Commitment to 75% of holidays
- Up to 6 days RTO (excluding holidays; time to be added to contract if needed)
- 2-day departmental orientation ensures a smooth transition
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 18 months Med/Surg Tele RN experience
- EPIC EMR experience required (minimum 6 months)
- Competence in cardiac rhythm interpretation, non-titrating cardiac drips, general med/surg skills including IV starts, wound care, and managing tubes/drains
- Open to first-time travelers eager to learn
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to diverse, acute patients
- Interpret cardiac rhythms, administer non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone)
- Start IVs, manage blood products, complete dressing changes
- Coordinate with CNAs, IV/VAT and RT teams
- Float among assigned regional facilities as needed
- Collaborate with on-site and virtual medical providers
