Schedule/Hours:

• Shifts: 0645-1915 or 1845-0715
• Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
• Weekend rotation: every other
• Holiday coverage: 75% of holidays required
• Up to 6 days off (excluding holidays) with advance approval

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• 18+ months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• At least 6 months experience with EPIC EMR
• Proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation, care of tubes/drains, blood products administration, wound care, and IV starts
• Comfortable managing RN ratios up to 1:7-8 during surge staffing
• Willingness to float within the designated region, including Cleveland, Kings Mtn, Lincoln, Central Division
• First-time travelers encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive care to patients with a range of cardiac, respiratory, and neuro diagnoses in a fast-paced observation setting
• Respond flexibly to varying patient loads with a focus on safety and quality outcomes
• Collaborate with charge nurses, CNA's, phlebotomy, IV/VAT team, RT, hospitalists, intensivists, and remote telemetry support
• Adapt to various technologies including Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell dispensing systems, and Massimo monitors
