Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible, travel-based assignment
- Standard shift ratio: RN 1:5-6 day and night; surge ratios possible at 1:7-8
Qualifications:
- Active RN license; minimum 18 months recent MedSurg/Telemetry experience
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Solid Med/Tele skillset: cardiac rhythm interpretation, non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone), IV initiation, wound care, and administration of blood products
- At least 6 months EPIC EMR experience (please specify in your application)
Daily Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional care for various patient populations including cardiac, neuro, and respiratory
- Manage IVs, tubes, drains, and medication administration
- Float across facilities within the regional system as required (with paid travel time during shift)
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary support, including CNAs, RTs, phlebotomy, and hospitalist teams
- Engage in a fast-paced environment focused on teamwork, resource sharing, and clinical excellence
Supportive Work Environment:
- Well-staffed with CNAs (1:12), 24/7 RT, and intensivist support
- Charge nurse acts as a resource at all times
- Remote telemetry monitoring and robust technology (Alaris IV, Omnicell, Massimo Monitors)
