This role offers the chance to:

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shift: 1845-0715
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly (with possible cancellations up to 3 times per contract)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call obligations

Qualifications:

• Active RN License and BLS/NIHSS certifications (AHA required, must be current)
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience, with strong neuro/post-stroke skills
• Proven ability to perform dysphagia screenings, stroke assessments, and BCMA
• Skilled in time management and communicating within interdisciplinary teams
• Adaptability to float to other units or facilities within 25 miles as needed
• Professional, adaptable, and patient-focused demeanor
• Preferred: TR band management experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to a diverse group of patients (general medicine and neuro/post-stroke)
• Manage a patient load with a typical 1:6 ratio in a 24-bed unit using Cerner EMR
• Uphold clinical standards, TJC, and CMS guidelines; adhere to uniform and attire protocols
