This dynamic opportunity offers 13 weeks of professional growth with a reputable medical center. This role will enrich your clinical portfolio and allow you to deliver care to a diverse patient population.

Schedule & Work Details:

• 13-week contract starting 5/18
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week, not including orientation week
• 12-hour night shifts
• Must be available every other weekend and holiday
• Flexibility to float to the medical unit when needed

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Illinois RN license
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (attach upon application)
• At least two years of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry experience, including one travel assignment
• Strong neuro nursing experience required
• Recent proficiency with EPIC charting systems
• Confident in neuro assessments, dysphagia screening, basic telemetry, and care for neuro/medical overflow patients
• Skilled in venipuncture, IV/blood product administration, heparin/other gtts, and drain management
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills

Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse neuro and neuro-surgical patient load with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
