Step into a pivotal role at a bustling Level II Trauma Center with a 340-bed capacity, where youll work alongside other dedicated professionals and provide top-notch care for a varied patient population. This environment ensures hands-on experience with advanced technology and fosters adaptability as you float through multiple Med Surg/Tele units, preparing you for broader challenges ahead.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour night shifts
• 48 hours per week required (not accepting 36-hour schedules)
• Every other weekend and holiday, unless otherwise approved
• 8-week contract with the possibility of extension

Required Qualifications:

• Active KY or Compact RN License
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS & NIHSS certifications (must be attached upon submittal)
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• Experience in Level I or II Trauma required
• Ability to read and interpret tele strips
• Comfortable floating throughout all inpatient areas
• Hardworking, resilient, socially adept, dependable team players
• Must pass EKG test during compliance
• COVID vaccine required (declinations require weekly testing at your own expense)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to surgical/telemetry patients
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Float between Med Surg/Tele units as needed
• Assist other units when support is required
• Accurately document patient care and responses in Care View/EPIC (training provided if needed)
