Whether youre floating throughout in-patient areas or responding to the fast pace of a trauma environment, every shift is an opportunity for professional growth. With guaranteed weekly hours on a set schedule, and a flexible assignment of 8 weeks, youll also have time to explore local nature trails, mountain vistas, and the hospitality of Eastern Kentucky during your downtime.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour nights
• 48 hours/week (no options for 36)
• No blocked scheduling
• Every other weekend/holiday required (unless otherwise approved)

Desired Qualifications:

• Active KY or compact RN license
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in Med Surg/Tele, including Level I or II Trauma
• Proficient in reading/interpreting telemetry strips
• EKG test required during compliance process
• Charting experience in Care View/EPIC (will train if needed)
• Hardworking, adaptable, reliable, and a strong team player
• COVID vaccination required (or declination with weekly testing)

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care in Med Surg and Telemetry units
• Float between inpatient areas as assigned; may be tasked as an aide as needed
• Maintain patient safety and stay adaptable to a 1:6 ratio across various bed sizes
