Job Description
Discover a rewarding nursing opportunity serving a diverse community in a collaborative, progressive medical-surgical environment. This contract position offers the chance to deliver high-quality care in an inpatient med-surg unit, supporting patients across a range of acute medical and post-surgical conditions.
Schedule/Hours:
- Night shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week
- Every other weekend as required (no call requirements)
- 13-week contract assignment
Qualifications:
- Active RN license, eligible or currently licensed in Missouri
- Minimum of 1 year inpatient Med Surg experience
- BLS (AHA) certification required, ACLS (AHA) preferred
- Team-oriented approach with a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
- Flexible to float to similar units per facility needs
- Adherence to black scrub attire and facility dress code
- Flu vaccination (or approved exemption) required during November 1April 1
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for adult patients
- Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain professional accountability in accordance with nursing practice guidelines and facility standards
- Uphold patient rights and confidentiality at all times
- Support quality and safety initiatives as part of an award-winning healthcare team
