Provide exceptional patient care as a Registered Nurse on the Med Surg unit in a prominent healthcare facility in Ballwin, MO. This contract position offers a 13-week assignment on the night shift (7:00 PM 7:30 AM), with options for 36 or 48 guaranteed weekly hours and weekend rotations as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient comfort and outcomes.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to professional and facility standards.
• Support care for patients post-trauma, surgical interventions, and with medical comorbidities.
• Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed to meet facility demands.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current RN license valid for Missouri or eligibility for licensure in the state.
• Minimum of 1 year Med Surg inpatient nursing experience.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required).
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Ability to work night shift and attend orientation on day shifts.
• Flexibility for weekend shifts and potential float assignments.

Work Environment:

• Physically demanding role involving prolonged standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and patient turning with assistance.
• Exposure to blood and body fluids in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system.
