Job Description
Deliver exceptional patient-centered nursing as part of a supportive Med Surg inpatient team. This assignment offers the opportunity to provide evidence-based care to a diverse patient population while collaborating with multidisciplinary colleagues in a dynamic environment.
Schedule/Hours:
- Days, 17000930 (rotating weekends as needed)
- 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (as indicated upon assignment)
- 13-week assignment
- Night shift orients on day shift; full week availability required for orientation
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current RN license, eligible or active in Missouri
- BLS from AHA required; ACLS from AHA preferred
- At least 1 year of inpatient Med Surg experience
- Team player, adaptable to floating across units as staffing needs arise
- Compliant with flu vaccination or approved exemption (Nov 1Apr 1)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of direct patient care for all age groups
- Monitor, coordinate, and document patient care activities for optimal outcomes and comfort
- Collaborate with ancillary departments to ensure seamless patient experiences
- Use specialized equipment (such as Nova Meters, Alaris IV pumps) and electronic records (EPIC) proficiently
- Adhere strictly to patient rights, confidentiality protocols, and facility standards
- Contribute to a positive, mission-driven workplace culture
