A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical care to provide compassionate inpatient nursing at a reputable hospital located in Ballwin, Missouri. This 13-week contract offers day shifts with flexible guaranteed hourschoose between 36 or 48 per weekand the chance to work with diverse surgical patient populations within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for adult surgical patients.
• Coordinate patient-centered care in collaboration with ancillary departments to optimize outcomes and comfort.
• Maintain professional accountability and compliance with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and established hospital standards.
• Adapt to unit-specific workflow and float to other units when needed.
• Handle physical demands including patient lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and rights during all interactions.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license eligible or issued in Missouri.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Medical-Surgical inpatient nursing.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• Preferred certifications: ACLS and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
• Comfortable with use of Alaris IV pumps, PCA pumps, wound vacs, telemetry, and EMR systems (Epic).

Shift and Schedule:

• Day shifts: 0700-1930, weekends as required (every other weekend typical).
• No call requirements.
• Block scheduling options and flexible hours (36 or 48) availableplease specify preference.
