This contract opportunity centers on caring for patients with renal conditions, providing both challenge and reward in a supportive hospital setting.

Schedule and Hours:

• Day shifts, three 12-hour shifts per week (07:00 - 19:00)
• Every other weekend required
• Up to 7 days of requested time off permitted
• Holiday coverage in alignment with assignment duration

Role Qualifications:

• Minimum two years of nursing experience (New travelers welcome)
• Active RN licensure
• BLS certification
• Med/Surg experience with a focus on renal care (HD cath management, Manual PD/PD cycler)
• Strong skills managing patients with sepsis, ETOH/CIWA, UTI, CKD, and hypertensive emergencies
• Telemetry monitoring proficiency
• Comfortable working with Epic, Pyxis, SBAR documentation systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients on a 20-room med/surg unit
• Manage patient ratios of 1:6 while handling the needs of complex renal and acute care individuals
• Float to related units as required, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in patient assignments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with all protocols and documentation standards
