Step into a fast-paced, patient-centered environment delivering exceptional care on an inpatient Med Surg unit. This contract opportunity is for Registered Nurses with strong Med Surg experience who are comfortable working nights and collaborating within a diverse, supportive team. Orientation for night shift roles will be completed on days; flexibility to attend orientation for the entire week is required.

Schedule:

• Night shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
• 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must specify preference upon applying)
• Rotating weekends as required; no on-call
• 13-week assignment

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license eligible in Missouri
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg inpatient RN experience
• BLS (AHA) certification required; ACLS (AHA) preferred
• Ability to float within the facility based on census and staffing needs
• Must comply with seasonal flu vaccination policy (Nov 1 Apr 1); exemptions permitted only if approveddeclinations not accepted
• Willingness to provide care to a diverse patient population and function as a team player
• Experience with EPIC EMR and Med Surg equipment such as Nova Meters, Alaris IV pumps, and Kangaroo pumps is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process for post-trauma, surgical, and medically complex patients
• Coordinate and monitor patient care activities with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes and comfort
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold patient rights at all times
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for a caseload that varies, with a typical night patient ratio of 1:6-7
• Demonstrate commitment to facility mission, values, and service standards
