Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing care utilizing a team nursing model with a patient ratio of 1:6/7.
  • Manage medical-surgical patient care in a fast-paced, acute care setting.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
  • Respond to on-call situations and weekend shifts as needed, maintaining high standards of care.
  • Uphold hospital protocols and participate actively in patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical-Surgical nursing; strict adherence to this requirement.
  • Current Registered Nurse license compliant with National Licensure Compact (NLC) guidelines.
  • Experience in a Level I Trauma Center is required.
  • Prior travel nursing experience and familiarity with large hospital settings preferred.
  • Ability to commit to night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM) on a 4x12-hour schedule.
  • Willingness to work within a 100-mile radius; local applicants preferred.
  • Ability to discuss weekend block scheduling options during the interview.
