Schedule/Hours:
- Day Shift, 12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend required
- Floating to similar units as needed
- Holiday coverage may be required
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years experience in stroke/neuro units (3+ years preferred)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (must be active and presented at onboarding)
- Successful completion of EKG skills test (required at submittal)
- Willingness to float to like units as patient care needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert care to adult/geriatric patients in Med-Surg/Tele and Stroke/Neuro units
- Administer medication, monitor patient progress, and document accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Educate and support patients and their families throughout the care process
