Schedule/Hours:
- Day Shift: 12 hours
- Every other weekend required
Qualifications/Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Stroke/Neuro care (required)
- Preferred: 3 years of relevant experience
- Current RN license
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (must be presented at time of submittal)
- Passing EKG test required
- Strong adaptability; first to float to similar units as needed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Medical-Surgical Telemetry patients with a focus on stroke and neuro cases
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver best-in-class patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Demonstrate flexibility in floating to related units as patient census requires
- Participate in ongoing training during a robust 2432 hour orientation
