Schedule:

• Day Shift, 12 hours
• Every other weekend required

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• 2 years of experience in Stroke/Neuro nursing (3 years preferred)
• Valid RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (must be current at start)
• Passing EKG Test (required at submission)
• Experience in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry environment
• Flexibility to float to similar units as needed

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered care in a medical-surgical/telemetry setting with an emphasis on stroke and neuro cases
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, providing comprehensive assessment, intervention, and evaluation
• Accurately document patient observations and interventions
• Participate in scheduled orientation (24-32 hours)
• Contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement
