Schedule/Hours
- 12-hour night shifts (5:30p start)
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday rotation included
- Contract length: 8 weeks
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Qualifications
- Active WI RN license, AHA BLS, and NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 3 years as an RN, with at least 2 years in med/surg and 1 prior travel assignment
- Strong recent EPIC experience (within 2 years)
- Demonstrated expertise in trauma surgical, neuro, and ortho patient care, including specialized skills such as chest tube management and care of post-op surgeries (fusions, spines)
Responsibilities
- Care for post-op neuro and ortho trauma patients within nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:51:6
- Float within your skill set to other units and facilities within a 60-mile radius
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to dynamic patient needs
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in alignment with established clinical guidelines
