Job Description
Providing skilled nursing care to patients with acute medical and surgical conditions requires confidence, expertise, and compassion. This role offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive inpatient care to a diverse patient population ranging from young adults to seniors (18 to 60+ years old). Serving on a 23-bed unit, you will collaborate within a dynamic team including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), and Nurse Interns.
Qualifications and Desired Experience
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test
- Experience in medical/surgical nursing or acute care preferred
- Ability to manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 efficiently
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
