Schedule:
- 7:00 pm 7:30 am
- Every other weekend required
As a vital member of the Medical-Surgical team, you will care for patients with a wide range of diagnoses in a fast-paced setting, refine your clinical judgment, and gain invaluable exposure to different workplace practices and leadership styles. Desired Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of Iowa or compact state
- At least one year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- BLS certification (required), ACLS preferred
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Ability to thrive on night shifts and every other weekend schedule
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive, compassionate care to patients with diverse medical and surgical needs
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform accurate documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Provide patient and family education, addressing questions with empathy and expertise
