- Contract assignment
Qualifications:
- Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Previous experience in a medical-surgical nursing unit
- Strong assessment and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, evidence-based, patient-centered nursing care for adults with diverse medical/surgical needs
- Monitor, assess, and document clinical status and progress
- Administer medications and manage IV lines as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare team members, and patients families to optimize outcomes
- Educate and support patients and families regarding treatment plans, recovery, and ongoing care needs
- Respond rapidly and efficiently to emergency situations, using excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Adhere to facility policies, infection control guidelines, and professional standards
