Schedule/Hours:

• Night shifts, 7PM 7AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call shifts

Qualifications:

• Current RN license (state of employment or compact)
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Minimum one year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
• Familiarity with a MedSurg environment
• Comfortable with a 5:1 or 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Willing to wear ceil blue scrubs per dress code

Core Responsibilities:

• Independently provide both routine and complex nursing care for a diverse patient population
• Use the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care
• Administer medications and treatments using established protocols
• Accurately document patient symptoms, interventions, and responses
• Effectively address psychological, social, and cultural needs of patients and their families
• Educate patients and caregivers, identify learning needs, and connect them to appropriate resources
• Delegate responsibilities appropriately and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
