This assignment places you on a high-performing 36-bed medical-surgical unit in a state-of-the-art healthcare environment recognized for excellence in patient care. Work alongside a dedicated, experienced team using advanced technology, including bedside telemetry, iMobile phones, and direct connectivity for vital sign monitoring and documentation. You'll be surrounded by professionals who are passionate about education and collaboration, giving you first-hand exposure to award-winning leadership and best practices in patient-centered care.
Schedule:
- 12-hour shifts (7-7)
- Every other weekend
- Holidays as required
Qualifications:
- Current RN license with at least one year of recent Med-Surg experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Advanced skills in telemetry rhythm interpretation
- Strong assessment abilities, detail orientation, and the ability to respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
- Positive attitude, flexibility, teamwork, and outstanding communication skills
- Experience with Meditech preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse medical-surgical patient population
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; participate in bedside shift reports and hourly rounding
- Float to other units as needed
- Perform advanced procedures such as PICC line and vas cath removal
