This travel nursing opportunity immerses you in a resourceful MedSurg/Telemetry environment, managed with advanced technology and a highly supportive team culture. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 18 months recent MedSurg/Tele experience required
  • Active RN license in good standing
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
  • Proficient in general Med/Tele skills: stroke experience, NIH assessments, chest tube management, IV starts, trach care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, tube/drain management, PCA pumps
  • Medication gtt management (cardiac drips, heparin, blood products, IVF)
  • Experience with Epic, Alaris, Omnicell, and Philips monitors
  • Flexibility to float within assigned region and scope of practice

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive care to a diverse adult patient population (stroke, COPD, GI bleed, cardiac/chest pain, altered mental status)
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, providing safe and evidence-based interventions
  • Conduct and document thorough patient assessments and critical care interventions
  • Participate in team huddles and foster a positive, collaborative unit culture
  • Adapt to occasional surge staffing and floating to various regional facilities
  • Maintain high-quality standards while managing a shifting patient census
