As a Med Surg travel nurse, youll collaborate with a highly skilled team and interact with diverse patient populations, ensuring you gain valuable exposure to varied clinical practices and modern leadership styles. This 13-week assignment is the perfect opportunity to strengthen your resume, master new systems such as Cerner, and build enduring professional relationships, all while enjoying the flexibility and excitement of travel nursing.
Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts: 6:30 pm 7:00 am
- Alternating weekends
Qualifications:
- Current RN license
- Minimum one year of recent Med Surg experience
- BLS certification required
- Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system
- Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the assignment location
- All requirements must be met for consideration
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert nursing care to adult Med Surg patients
- Conduct thorough physical assessments and monitor patient progress
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate patient documentation using Cerner EMR
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patient families
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and healing environment
