An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse experienced in Interventional Radiology to support outpatient radiology services in Stone Mountain, GA. This contract position offers a dynamic role focused on CT Coronary exams within an outpatient radiology setting, requiring specialized clinical skills and patient care expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and assist in Interventional Radiology procedures, specifically CT Coronary examinations.
- Monitor and regulate patients heart rates during exams.
- Administer medications, including nitroglycerin, as necessary to manage patient conditions.
- Collaborate closely with the radiology team to provide safe and effective patient care.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and clinical standards.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or related specialty.
- Certification in AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Proficiency in managing cardiac-related medication administration and patient monitoring during radiology procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
- 13-week contract assignment.
