An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Interventional Radiology (IR) skills located in Radford, VA. This position offers a contract assignment providing care in a dynamic medical center setting. The role involves supporting interventional radiology procedures with expert nursing care, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the treatment process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during IR procedures, including patient preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Maintain sterile environments and equipment readiness.
• Document patient information accurately and timely.
• Participate in call rotations, available approximately 10 days per month, including after-hours and weekend shifts.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience or specialized training in Interventional Radiology nursing.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Ability to respond efficiently to emergency situations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to manage call responsibilities outside normal weekday hours.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday operation.
• Call rotation approximately 10 days per month, including after regular hours and weekends.
