Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and IV skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced procedural environment
- Previous travel nursing experience a plus, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with interventional radiology procedures, monitoring patient status pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
- Administer medications, start IVs, and manage sedation as needed
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-care instructions
- Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols
