Job Description

A Registered Nurse with experience in Interventional Radiology is needed for a contract assignment in Parker, CO. This role requires a professional with at least one year of experience, proficient in IV insertion and procedural sedation, and holding current ACLS and BLS certifications. The position involves working primarily with adult and geriatric patients, managing 6 to 8 patients daily in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 36 hours per week
  • Four 9-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Rotating day off during the week
  • Rotating weeknight call from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Rotating 24-hour weekend call on Saturdays and Sundays

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care during interventional radiology procedures
  • Recovery of patients post-procedure except those requiring phase 1 anesthesia recovery
  • Work with a 1:1 to 1:2 patient ratio on a unit with telemetry monitoring
  • Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system
  • Float between regional locations as needed with advance notice

Qualifications:

  • Current RN licensure with at least one year of experience in interventional radiology
  • ACLS and BLS certification required
  • Experience in IV insertion and procedural sedation mandatory
  • Ability to effectively manage both inpatient and outpatient populations
