Schedule & Shifts:
- Day shifts: 7:30 AM 5:00 PM
- Call requirements: 2 days during weekdays, every 3rd weekend, rotating holidays with team
Role Highlights: You'll have the chance to utilize your nursing expertise in IR settings, with possible floating to other departments or area sites within your skill set. This ensures ongoing learning and exposure to new challenges, complementing your background in emergency or critical care and moderate sedation.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year recent Interventional Radiology nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Emergency Department/ICU experience and experience with moderate sedation
- Proficiency in EPIC documentation systems
- Willingness to float within the hospital or to nearby sites (within 40 miles) as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, compassionate care to IR patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure positive outcomes
- Administer moderate sedation as necessary
- Maintain accurate records using EPIC
- Adapt readily to various department needs and settings
