Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift
- On-call rotation including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (education verification required)
- Active Illinois RN Licensure
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 3 years RN experience with at least 1 year in critical care
- Cardiovascular intervention experience required
Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient care using the nursing process and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Administer medications and treatments per policy and state law
- Provide accurate, comprehensive documentation and patient education
- Contribute to performance improvement and shared governance
- Offer clinical guidance, support, and escalation as needed
- Engage in professional development and participate in evidence-based practice updates
- Maintain patient flow in a clinic/ambulatory setting, including telephone triage
