Schedule/Hours

  • Day Shift position
  • On-call rotation: Weeknights, weekends, and holidays

Desired Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (education verification required)
  • Active RN licensure in Illinois (IL Dept of Professional Regulation)
  • Minimum of 3 years RN experience, including 1 year in critical care
  • Interventional Radiology and Cardiovascular Intervention experience required
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (all required at time of submission)
  • Ability to successfully pass an EKG test before completing orientation

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide top-tier patient care using the nursing process and critical thinking skills
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and provide patient/family education
  • Administer medications and treatments following established protocols
  • Ensure meticulous and comprehensive documentation
  • Participate in shared governance and departmental performance improvement initiatives
  • Guide and support fellow staff, escalate care concerns appropriately, and troubleshoot systems breakdowns
  • Commit to continuous professional development and peer feedback initiatives
  • Help maintain optimal patient flow and respond to clinical inquiries
