As an experienced RN in Interventional Radiology, youll be immersed in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment, engaging with diverse teams and advanced practices. Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift
- On-call rotation including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (education verification required)
- Active IL RN license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (at submission)
- Minimum 3 years RN experience with at least 1 year critical care
- Cardiovascular Intervention experience required
- Ability to pass EKG test prior to completing orientation
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply the nursing process and critical thinking with interdisciplinary teams
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for IR patients
- Accurately administer medication and maintain comprehensive documentation
- Collaborate on individualized patient care plans and family education
- Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and shared governance efforts
- Support peers and other departments with clinical expertise
- Manage complex patient situations, delegate appropriately, and escalate issues as needed
- Pursue ongoing professional development, evidence-based practice, and peer feedback
