As an experienced RN in Interventional Radiology, youll be immersed in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment, engaging with diverse teams and advanced practices. Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shift
  • On-call rotation including weeknights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (education verification required)
  • Active IL RN license
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (at submission)
  • Minimum 3 years RN experience with at least 1 year critical care
  • Cardiovascular Intervention experience required
  • Ability to pass EKG test prior to completing orientation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply the nursing process and critical thinking with interdisciplinary teams
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for IR patients
  • Accurately administer medication and maintain comprehensive documentation
  • Collaborate on individualized patient care plans and family education
  • Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and shared governance efforts
  • Support peers and other departments with clinical expertise
  • Manage complex patient situations, delegate appropriately, and escalate issues as needed
  • Pursue ongoing professional development, evidence-based practice, and peer feedback
