An excellent opportunity awaits registered nurses with a solid background in Interventional Radiology to contribute to a leading outpatient radiology center. This contract position emphasizes clinical excellence, patient safety, and collaboration within a skilled radiology team.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
• 13-week contract

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Interventional Radiology
• Required certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Demonstrated expertise in special procedures within IR settings
• Proficient in medication administration, particularly in regulating heart rates and administering nitroglycerin when necessary
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the radiology team during CT coronary procedures and other special IR exams
• Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure to ensure optimal cardiac stability and rapid response to clinical changes
• Accurately administer and titrate medications in accordance with procedure protocols and patient response
• Coordinate care, communicate findings, and support patient understanding throughout the examination process
• Maintain high standards in documentation, infection control, and regulatory compliance
• Assist with setup and breakdown of procedure rooms, ensuring a safe and efficient environment
