Step into a dynamic nursing role supporting interventional radiology procedures in a busy outpatient setting. This 13-week contract assignment centers on delivering top-quality patient care during special proceduresprimarily CT coronary examsat a well-respected suburban outpatient center.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. 4:00 p.m.

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Demonstrated competency in administering cardiac medications, including nitroglycerin, and regulating heart rates as part of radiologic procedures
• Strong clinical assessment skills and comfort working in fast-paced, procedural settings
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles outside of the immediate area

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide expert nursing care for patients undergoing CT coronary imaging in outpatient radiology
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and intervene as needed, administering appropriate medications to safely regulate heart rates during exams
• Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to ensure accuracy and patient safety throughout procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking and rapid response skills during contrast reactions, sedation monitoring, or emergent events
• Offer patient education and pre/post-procedure support geared to outpatient settings
