Step into an essential nursing role providing specialized care to diverse patient populations undergoing radiology procedures and stress testing. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic environment supporting adult, infant, and pediatric patients requiring advanced imaging and interventional radiology services.
Schedule/Hours:
- 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (0700-1730)
- Weekend rotation every 5th week
- Weeknight on-call (1730-0700) up to 1 night per week
- Weekend on-call (1730-0700) every 5th week (FridaySunday)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive pre- and post-procedural nursing care for inpatients and outpatients accessing radiology and stress testing services.
- Provide continuous monitoring and support for patients during procedures across diverse modalities such as CT, Ultrasound, MRI, and Interventional Radiology.
- Ensure safe pre- and post-care management for infants and children receiving anesthesia for MRI studies.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to maintain superior standards of patient care and procedural safety.
- Monitor and rapidly respond to changes in patient condition during imaging and interventional procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication regarding patient care and procedural findings.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in good standing.
- Prior experience in an Interventional Radiology or similar critical care environment preferred.
- Strong assessment, patient monitoring, and IV skills.
- Ability to provide specialized care across adult and pediatric populations.
- Flexible to accommodate rotating weekends and on-call coverage.
