Schedule/Hours:
- 10-hour days: 0700-1730, four days per week
- Occasional late stays to complete cases
- Weekend shifts and holiday coverage required according to unit needs
- On-call duty: 1-2 times per week and every 3rd to 4th weekend
Desired Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum 2 years experience in a Cath Lab environment
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Adaptability to float between Cath, IR, and EP units as required
- Commitment to attend orientation and training sessions prior to assignment start
- KUs nicotine-free policy must be observed
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert, compassionate nursing care in an IR and Cath Lab setting
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes
- Prepare and assist during interventional procedures and emergencies
- Maintain detailed patient records within Epic and other systems
- Respond effectively to rapidly changing patient needs and prioritize tasks efficiently
