Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time travel assignment
- Shifts may include weekdays and rotating on-call or weekends, offering flexibility and exposure to different clinical settings
Qualifications:
- Active RN license, eligible to practice in the assignment state
- Minimum of two years current experience in Interventional Radiology nursing
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong assessment and communication abilities
- Proficiency with radiology equipment, patient monitoring systems, and sterile technique
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, intervening as needed
- Educate patients and families on IR procedures, preparation, and post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of patient safety
