Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 years experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) nursing
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficient in IV insertion, conscious sedation, and pre/post-procedure patient care
- Strong communication and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to adapt to new environments and embrace diverse clinical protocols
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist radiology physicians with patient preparation, procedural support, and post-procedure care
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications or sedatives as ordered
- Ensure patient safety during IR procedures and maintain detailed documentation
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality, compassionate care
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the interventional radiology process
